Thank you to all the Northern Hills parents who got out in the icy weather to vote for the bond issue. With its passage, $4,700,000 will be dedicated to refurbishing and room additions at Northern Hills. We will gain a kitchen, new office space, twelve new classrooms, a fire lane at the back of the school, and a new front on the building, complete with a beautiful entryway. After a year of teaching around construction, we should be in our beautiful “new” building in time for the 2009-10 school year.
I also want to thank you for helping us make the most of instructional time by not interrupting classroom time. Teachers are always happy to set an appointment to visit with you before or after school or during their plan time.
