Can you believe Spring Break is around the corner? I do believe each year goes by faster than the one before. Enjoy your time together during the break and rest. Come back ready to continue the year learning and preparing for the transition to the next grade. Our teachers keep their students learning up to the last day of school!
Our third, fourth and fifth-grade students will take the Oklahoma Core Curriculum Tests the week of April 14th. Look for my test taking tips in next month’s newsletter.
With Spring Break in mind, I thought I would list some safety tips you could go over with your child/children.
Have a safe and wonderful Spring Break!
Spring is in the air, and I can’t wait! I hope all of you enjoyed the Book Fair as much as I did. Thanks to Cindy Garbrecht, Trudy Adkins and Christine Carllson for making this a hugely successful event once again.
Another great event just wrapping up is our first-ever sale of Butter Braids. If you participated in this fundraiser, I promise you won’t be disappointed! The pastries are delicious, and you’ll be asking for them again next year.
Parents’ Night Out Auction is slated for Saturday, March 29, at First Christian Church in Edmond. Dress in
Black & White
for this fun-filled event, and get ready to bid on some fabulous items!
Finally, we are calling all Moms and Dads to get involved! We have lots of different positions available with PTO next year, with varying levels of commitment. Watch your child’s backpack for the pink committee sign-up sheets for next year’s PTO positions.
Our next PTO meeting is Thursday April 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the media center. As always, you are invited!
Have a safe and restful Spring Break!
