FALL FUN FEST
- Fall Fun Fest is our annual fall carnival held on the back playground one Friday evening in late September.
This event would not be possible without the help of our parent volunteers. Volunteering can be done through
donating an hour of your time to work a booth or by sending in such items as 2 liters of soda or baked treats
for the cake walk. Be sure to look for the sign up sheets in your child’s classroom on Information Day and
Back to School Night. If you have any questions about the Fall Fun Fest, be sure to contact the FFF chairmen
listed on this website. The Fall Fun Fest Class/Booth schedule will be posted prior to the event.

HOLIDAY STORE
- The Holiday Store is our annual Christmas Store held every year the week following Thanksgiving. To be a worker in the Holiday Store you can pick your position. The positions available are stocking the tables, helping the kids shop, wrapping gifts, or being a cashier. You volunteer for the position you feel most comfortable doing. You can select a shift time and day off the schedule below that works best for you that week. If you are unable to work a full shift, then work only the time you can and we will find someone else to finish your shift. During the year you can also volunteer your time helping make crafts and/or doing other things to help us get the items ready to be sold in the Holiday Store. We will hold several craft parties throughout the year in the Chairman's homes and there is no prior crafting experience necessary. This is a great opportunity to get to know other Northern Hill moms and to help be a part in putting together one of the kid’s favorite experiences all year! The Holiday Store Volunteer schedule will be posted by mid-November.

BOOK FAIR
- Our annual Book Fair is hosted each year during the school’s Open House week.
This event is usually held at the end of January or beginning of February.
Parent helpers are needed to work the morning shift (3 hours) and afternoon
shift (2 1/2 hours), Monday through Thursday, as well as, 4:30pm-7:00pm on
Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Volunteers will help students select books
as well as cashier. It's a fun and easy job and just requires a little time
from you. The Book Fair Volunteer Schedule will be posted by
mid-January.

AUCTION
- The auction rotates every other year between an event for parents only and an event for the entire family.
In the 07-08 school year, a parent auction will be held. The fun-filled evening will include both live and silent
auctions as well as a chance for parents to visit with each other outside of school! Volunteers are needed throughout
the year to make preparations for this event! We need help with organizing and coordinating parent & family donations,
solicitations by mail, event program creation, as well as many other items. Many jobs can be done from home in a time
that fits your schedule, so this volunteer area is a great one for many of our working parents or parents with young
children. We can also use volunteers for the day of the event to help with setup and cleanup. Give the auction chairman a call to help!

FIELD DAY
- Field Day is our outdoor track & field day held on the first Friday of May.
Volunteering can be done by signing up on Information day or Back to School night
in your child’s classroom or by simply turning in a Ticket for Time. In April,
your child’s Homeroom Parent will contact you to request which shift time you would
prefer to work. Shift times are 1 hour in length. On the day of the event, please
report to the Welcome Desk 15 minutes before your shift begins in order to find
which game/activity you have been assigned to and where that game/activity is located
on the campus. The Grade/Shift schedule will be posted in late spring.
